Today I’m excited to welcome Allison Fallon to The Quarter Life Comeback podcast.
Allison Fallon is an author, writer and writing coach who helps facilitate personal growth via her writing workshops.
Side note: She’s also one of my favorite people to follow on Twitter 🙂
When she was in college, Allison figured her life would come together after graduation: She’d meet a guy, have a beautiful wedding, and buy a house together.
But when she got out of college and life didn’t look like that, she floundered, trying to get the life she had always dreamed of through career, travel, and relationships. None of them satisfied her as she had hoped.
Like many twenty-somethings, Allison tried to discover the life of her dreams, but instead just kept accumulating baggage—school loans, electronics she couldn’t afford, hurt from broken relationships, and unmet expectations for what life was “supposed to be” like.
Just when she had given up all hope, she decided to take a trip across the United States. That spurred a personal journey that led to her exploring what she’d always wanted to do: write for a living.
Allison’s goal is to challenge people to think, re-route old and unhelpful ideas about themselves and the world, and to help you see that, no matter what you’re facing in your life right now, you are stronger than you think you are, you are on a journey and in a process of becoming the most incredible version of yourself.
