A couple years ago, I did something for which I am thankful to this day. This one action has led to more adventure, fun and excitement in my life, been the platform for building new friendships and been the catalyst for increased personal growth.
I made a list.
Now for a control-freak perfectionist like me, making a list seems like just another day at the office. But this list is a little different.
I call it the Life List. (I wrote about this concept on one of my previous blogs, where I called it the ‘Big List’, but here’s what it’s all about.)
On the surface, the Life List looks a lot like a bucketlist, but it goes slightly deeper. While a bucketlist is simply a collection of things you’d like to see or do in your lifetime, the Life List contains things that would be awesome to achieve, even if you have no idea HOW you will ever achieve them. It’s a living, breathing document which is regularly updated and forces you to think bigger.
Sure, your standard bucketlist items will also appear here (they make life awesome, too), but the Life List goes beyond all logical imagination.
Credit for this idea must go to Joel Runyon of impossiblehq.com who originally shared the Impossible List.
Whether you’re looking for your next big adventure or want to do something meaningful with your life, the Life List is where it all lies.
Below you’ll find my own Life List. I’ll be crossing items off as I achieve them and adding new ones as I go. I’ll also be sharing some of these achievements via email or on the blog, so be sure to sign up for updates and spread the word.
If you, your business or someone you know would like to assist (or join!) in making any of these things a reality, let me know!
